Melanie Kozol's contemplation of James

James's good friend, fellow 92nd Street Y teacher, and master painter, created this portrait of James this afternoon to help me over a rough patch.  Melanie paints mostly landscapes so I find it particularly touching that she chose the landscape of my husband's face!  She captured that neck I know so well and those cheeks and lips! Much love out to Melanie and all those inspired to honor James.
